Membership Information » Payment Forms | » Online Subscription Form
Membership is open to all veterinarians who are interested in veterinary dermatology; applications for membership shall be approved by the ESVD Board of Trustees and applicants must complete a Membership Consent Form in order to become a member of the ESVD charitable company.
Members have the right to vote at general meetings of ESVD (including the AGM) and to stand for election to become a Trustee of ESVD.
Important note about membership renewal for 2012
Any new members must complete two forms: the renewal form with financial details and the formal membership consent form.
These forms are now a legal requirement following the conversion of ESVD into a registered charity. Those ESVD members, who have not done so yet, should also please complete both forms.
By signing the consent form you, as an individual, are agreeing to join ESVD 'the Company'. In this context 'Company Membership' does not relate to membership of the association by commercial companies. It is for membership of a company (the ESVD charitable company) by individuals.
If the consent form is not completed and returned then membership status has not been achieved and you will not have voting rights in ESVD elections and at the AGM.
Please return both forms as soon as possible if you have not done so already.
All applications for company membership must be accompanied by the payment of the annual fee. This fee includes annual subscription to Veterinary Dermatology.
Please Note: The membership year is from January 1st to December 31st. Irrespective of when you became a member you will be deemed to have joined for that year (and will be required to pay the full annual fee for that year) and you will receive all copies of Veterinary Dermatology published that year. For example, if you join in October you will receive all back copies of Veterinary Dermatology published so far in the year and the remaining issue for the year when it is published. You will then be asked for the next year’s subscription in the following January. If we do not receive notification of payment by March 1st then you will cease to be a company member of ESVD, your voting rights at general meetings will be lost and you will be required to re-apply for membership next year.
Payment: Below is a list of the current renewal fees with the different methods of payment. Applicants are encouraged to pay on-line if possible. Just follow the links.
(If you do not wish to pay on-line, then please print off and submit this form with your payment.)
The annual membership fee is €100. For applicants who do not want a paper copy of Veterinary Dermatology, the fee, which includes on-line access to our journal, is €60. For undergraduates, applicants who graduated less than 3 years ago and for dermatology residents a reduced rate of €60 will apply. Please send documentary evidence that you are eligible for this discount to membershipsecretary@esvd.org after you have made your payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that your application is bone fide. Subscriptions cannot be refunded once they have been received.
