We have sadly lost one of our founding members

Professor emeritus Dr Ton Willemse sadly passed on the 23rd of April 2025. Professor Willemse was a founder member of both the ESVD and ECVD as well as a Foundation member of the AiCVD. He worked at Utrecht University in the Netherlands until his retirement where he taught numerous students in dermatology and mentored several residents and PhD students. Professor Willemse authored numerous research papers as well as several books during his career. He will be missed deeply by the veterinary dermatology community.

We will remember Dr Willemse at the AGM in Bilbao.
